Segway of Northern New England, headquartered in of Concord, NH, and Margaritaville Foods of Exeter, NH recently teamed up for an unusual promotion to introduce Jarden Corporation’s FCM (Frozen Concoction Maker). The companies, together with Conspiracy Creative, joined forces to create a unique marketing campaign that promotes this new state-of-the-art consumer blender.
Mark Alosa, Vice President of Conspiracy Creative was commissioned to design and build the Tiki Bar Segway. “ This is a one-of-a-kind vehicle”, said Alosa. “It not only showcases the merchandise in an environment that speaks to the buyer, but also works anywhere, anytime, right on board the Segway.” The Tiki Bar Segway has real bamboo thatching, lighted parrothead lights, and pulls a small utility trailer, which contains a Honda generator. Conspiracy Creative specializes in creating unique marketing promotions across the country.
The Tiki Bar Segway is making its way across America during the 2006 Jimmy Buffet concert series as part of the mobile Margaritaville Food convoy. “It has been a huge hit during the pre-shows at the concerts”, said Tom Keane, President of Margaritaville Foods. MaryBeth Alosa president of Segway of Northern New England has enjoyed the promotional experience, and adds the Tiki Bar Segway to her list of other special events including the New England Patriots Charitable Golf Tournament and the Matt Light Shoot Out.
